A terrific story by Sean Buckelew, smartly written, seen with a keen eye and animated with a subtle hand.
His other works deserve attention as well. The Jennings Account (2012) manages to paint a surreal portrait with just a few spare marks on white paper. Another (2013) kept me wondering until the end, its rich messiness full of gesture and expression. Perhaps not as economical as his shorter works, and certainly darker, Another is a memorable tragedy wrapped in a cloak of satire - or maybe the other way round.
